Frank Lloyd Wright And The Johnson Wax Buildings Creating A Corporate Cathedral Museum Event Poster. This event was organized by The Herbert F. The event took place at the Grand Rapids Museum of Art in Grand Rapids Michigan Feb-Apr 1987. The poster has an image of the Frank Lloyd Wright ink and pencil and colored pencil drawing of the Johnson wax administrative Building exterior perspective in 1936. Including some cool old looking cars! It is exactly how I bought it 20 years ago which is rolled up in a tube. It needs to be flattened and I would have it linen backed and framed as well. The size is 13 and 1/2 in high and 37 and 1/2 inches long. This is a very rare poster as I’ve only seen two others in the 28 years that I worked for Johnson Wax and in the 40 years since it was produced. It should really go in the company archives or be framed and hanging in an executive’s office. And please check out my other posters and listings, as a long time employee I collected many very rare and exclusive and fun items. I have several hundred items relating to the SC Johnson wax company that you may be interested in as an employee or collector. If you don’t see something and have a special interest let me know. SCJ, SC Johnson, SC Johnsons Wax, SC Johnson’s Wax, J-Wax, JWax, Johnson’s Wax, Johnson Wax, Raid/OFF! Glo-Coat, Frank Lloyd Wright, Sam Johnson, Fisk Johnson, Spirit of Carnaúba Expedition, Sikorsky S-38 amphibious flying boat, S. Johnson & Son, Inc.

Hard to find lighter of the SC Johnson’s Wax Research Tower in Racine, Wisconsin. The lighter was designed by noted Industrial Designer, Brooks Stevens and was a limited edition (estimates of less than 2,000 produced) and was given away as executive and corporate gifts. Very good condition with no chips to the Cherokee red paint. Lighter does not work (probably just needs flint/fluid). Piece stands 5 3/4 tall. Please review photos – tried to take from all sides/angles… Contact me with any questions.
