Considered one of Frank Lloyd Wright’s most important building designs, Unity Temple, Oak Park, Illinois, 1905, stands as an example and testament to Wrights genius by providing a uniquely American architecture. This design is adapted from the vast skylight above the square sanctuary. Composed of twenty-five panels using warm brown, deep gold and opalescent white, the skylight is designed so each panel is turned ninety degrees from its neighbor. On this glass panel, enamel colors are individually applied to a single sheet of glass which is then kiln fired to permanently fuse the enamels to the glass. The glass is then wood framed and includes a wooden plaque base. The measurements of this beautiful Frank Lloyd Wright glass art panel plaque is L: 10″ x W: 10″ x Thickness: 0.625. This is an Ebros exclusive collection. Coke can placed next to the statue is not included with the listing. It is meant to provide size perspective of the item. 8 Usonian geometric perforated windows- replicas of the Pope Leighey House! The full set of 8 spans 32 feet (or two parallel spans of 16 feet)! Expertly manipulating light & shadow, Wright’s Usonian cut-out window designs were revolutionary & a stunning aesthetic. Purportedly based on the a combination of the shape of the US map and predicted shadows cast by the house, the design for the Pope Leighey house was one of the most attractive. These replicas are hand made of high quality birch plywood (the originals were now endangered cyprus plywood). They are finished in “golden oak” stain & multiple coats of polyurethane. Each measures 48 inches (4 feet) long by 10 inches tall. They may be mounted any orientation front/back showing, top or bottom up- Wright staggered them. The Pope Leighey house even has a bedroom window were these are mounted vertically beside each other creating a Southwestern Indian effect! You can mount them in front of windows, or back light them to create wall lamps! Having been installed previously, about half of the boards have 1-2 small drilled holes at corners (see photos). Some have easily removed masking tape or writing on the edge: installation notations (hidden when installed). Light box, architectural, geometric, perf board, ranma.

New Motawi Tileworks Art Tile. FROZEN SPHERES 8″x 8″. In 1927, Wright designed a series of 12 monthly covers for Liberty magazine based on seasonal themes. Unfortunately, the publishers judged them as too radical for the time. Each cover design exemplifies Wright’s practice of using the tools of his trade-T-square, triangle, and compass-to create lively geometric designs. Nearly a century later, Motawi celebrates this study in geometry, asymmetry, and color with its 8×8 ceramic art tile inspired by Wright’s. Each Motawi tile is made by hand in Ann Arbor, Michigan with time-honored methods which produce a nuanced range of color with depth and translucence on each design. These hand-crafted tiles may vary slightly in color and dimensions, up to 1/16. Actual Tile Size: Approximately 7 7/8″ x 7 7/8″.
