Frank Lloyd Wright. (First Edition, 1932, RARE). This is a rare first edition of. By Frank Lloyd Wright, published in 1932. In this groundbreaking work, Wright introduces his visionary concept of Broadacre City, a decentralized, self-sufficient community designed to redefine urban living. His ideas challenge traditional city planning, advocating for wide-open spaces, individual land ownership, and the integration of architecture with nature-principles that continue to influence urban design today. Author: Frank Lloyd Wright. Publisher: William Farquhar Payson. The cover and binding are fully intact. Front cover is clearly very stained yet has little to no fraying or tearing. Back cover still has dust jacket. Page condition doesn’t match cover condition as they are much better. Other than the first and last page, there is little to no staining on the pages. They turn easily, and are clearly legible. There is also a fun surprise inside – I found writings about Frank Lloyd Wright directly from the era the book comes from inside the book. Low price due to cover’s condition, but not super low due to the collectible writings I found inside. A must-have for collectors, architects, and anyone interested in Wright’s revolutionary vision for the future of cities.
