- Autograph Authentication: STEPHEN KOSCHAL AUTHENTICATION
This Precision Laser Cut brass image of Frank Lloyd Wright’s architectural detail measures 7-1/2″ by 7-1/2″ and is accented with black toning. Skillfully set in a “shadow box” with a 2-inch-wide white mat and framed with a one-inch-wide solid black wood frame, it measures a full 13″ by 13″ in all. The black wood frame is 1-1/4 thick, so the metal sculpture sits level with the mat, high up off the back of the piece — letting light go through and cast shadows of the art on the inside! The frame has a wide alligator hanger on the back at the top. This brass cutout replicates a detail of the art glass skylight designed by Frank Lloyd Wright specifically for the Ward W. Willets House (1902-03) in Highland Park, Illinois. This is a truly stunning visual piece! On the back of this Frank Lloyd Wright collectible wall art is a sticker which names the home, the year it was built, and “Detail: Art Glass Skylight” “Adapted from a design by Frank Lloyd Wright”. It also states: “Certified by The Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation”. This is a vintage, hard-to-find RARE Frank Lloyd Wright collectible!
