ACME’s Sterling Silver Miniature Chairs was a collection to commemorate famous chairs designed by Charles & Ray Eames, Mies Van Der Rohe, Michele de Lucchi, Frank Lloyd Wright, Charles Rennie Mackintosh, Philippe Starck, Gerrit Rietveld, Arne Jacobsen, Ettore Sottsass, Shigeru Uchida, Michael Thonet and Eero Saarinen. The collection was originally released in 1990. This is a miniature version of the “Johnson” chair designed by Frank Lloyd Wright. These are sterling silver which tarnishes over time, so some polishing may be needed. Some people like the tarnish/patina so we leave them as they are. DIMENSIONS: L: 1-13/16″ W: 1-3/4″ H: 2-3/8. This one is a sterling silver, handmade miniature, manufactured by Acme Studios. Only 250 ever made. Part of a collection of 13 chairs which also includes Starck, Sottsass, Mackintosh, Rietveld, De Lucchi, Eames, Gehry, and others which will be appearing in future auctions. Perfect condition, never used, in itsoriginal packaging, no longer in production. DIMENSIONS: 2 1/4″ tall X 1 1/2″ wide.
