Seven tiles, 5 framed: 4 Motawi and one Handpainted elk (PAINT not glaze). Frames are all solid wood, I believe quartersawn oak, but different finishes. Forest and elk are 6×6 tiles, flowers are 4×8 rectangles tiles (approximately). 2 unframed unsigned blue bird and multi colored abstract art deco? Blue bird tile has some wear/small chips around the perimeter. Largest is approximately 10×10 with 8×8 frank lloyd wright tile, frame has damage. Tile is great, but 2 repairs on frame- I’ve taken multiple pics from many angles and last picture is circled with where they are located. Can separate for fair offers, from non smoking home. Please ask questions if any prior to placing order.

Poster size: 28×20 in/ 72×52 cm. Many people may not be familiar with the term Arts and Crafts. Simply put, it was a revolutionary movement in design that began in 19th century England. It was a movement that brought about major changes in the relationship between design and people’s lives. For example, it is now common knowledge that “good design is not only beautiful but also easy to use, ” and Arts and Crafts was based on this idea. Tracing the origins of the movement, we arrive at the Red House, which William Morris built when he was newly married. In order to create a beautiful home where people could live comfortably, Morris himself worked with his friends to handcraft the wallpaper and window decorations. Morris called it the most beautiful house in the world. The spirit of Arts and Crafts, which began with such humble handiwork, eventually spread throughout Europe and even to Japan and America. This exhibition will show the development of Arts and Crafts, focusing on England, but also including trends in America. This exhibition focuses on British artists who promoted the Arts and Crafts Movement, as well as Morris & Co. It is a diverse exhibition of the Arts and Crafts Movement, the origin of modern design, with approximately 170 pieces of textiles, furniture, silverware, tiles, stained glass, books, etc. Expedited: 1 to 2 weeks Estimated days may vary depending on the country and time.
