Frank Lloyd Wright Designed Arizona Biltmore Rug Albert Chase Mcarthur. This four-color Art Deco carpet was originally in the Arizona Biltmore Hotel built in 1929. One of the only existing luxury hotels in the world with a Frank Lloyd Wright-influenced design, The Arizona Biltmore has been an Arizona landmark since its opening when it was crowned The Jewel of the Desert. Created by Taliesin Architects after Frank Lloyd Wright designs for the Imperial Hotel in Tokyo, Japan. Construction still taking place after wrights death. This same pattern and a number of others were used in the Imperial hotel. The pattern was recreated in the 70s for the Arizona Biltmore hotel designed by architect Albert Chase McArthur brother of Warren and son of Warren McArthur Sr. Frank Lloyd Wright built the Mcarthur house of 1892, 4852 South Kenwood Avenue in Chicago, Illinois. The Arizona Biltmore gets attributed to Frank Lloyd Wright countless times but was designed by architect Albert Chase McArthur 1927. In the 70s Designer Kay Baden remodeled the inside of the hotel and had these carpets made by Taliesin West architects.
