The design, on a black background, is based on the pattern used in the informal dining room of the Imperial Hotel in Tokyo, Japan commissioned in 1916. The pen comes with one black roller ball refill. Artist’s signature is engraved on the cap band and “ACME” is on the clip. The pen is presented in a metal Frank Lloyd Wright tin with a black sleeve and ACME literature. This is a vintage Acme Studio Frank Lloyd Wright Bricks standard roller ball pen. The ink cartridge needs replacement. There are no scratches or dings on the pen. It was released in 1997. Please see my other listings.
ACME Studio FRANK LLOYD WRIGHT Taliesin Anniversary Color Test LE Pen Set – NEW The “Taliesin Anniversary” pen set is based on a pattern used in the Taliesin house in Wisconsin, designed by Frank Lloyd Wright. Interchangeable rollerball and fountain pen set. This is a factory sample alternate color test. This color sample is an AP, an Artist’s Proof intended for designer approval purposes. Only 25 of these samples were ever produced, so this is a very rare pen that was never in open production. The 1,911 limited-edition pieces correspond with the 100-year anniversary of the project, designed in 1911. The set is interchangeable and comes with both a front section for use with a roller ball refill as well as a fountain front section. Customize the pen how you prefer.
