This “April Showers” mechanical pencil, designed by Frank Lloyd Wright, is from ACME experimenting with various functions for this shape of writing tool. It has been used as a ballpoint, mechanical pencil and is currently used as the pen shape for the Brand-X collection of retractable pens. The pencil comes packaged in an ACME tin and 0.7mm lead. Since this is a factory sample, very few of these pencils were made and once they are gone, no more will ever be available for sale.
