Publisher: TASCHEN, 2009 (First Oversized Edition). Dimensions: 16″ long × 12.5″ wide × 2 thick. Unrivaled access to the Frank Lloyd Wright Archives in Taliesin, Arizona. Drawings for unrealized projects, including a house for Marilyn Monroe and Arthur Miller. Projects such as the Guggenheim Museum, the Beth Sholom Synagogue, and plans for a new Baghdad. Wright’s only realized high-rise tower in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. The book itself is in mint condition. The original cardboard box has slight dents, and the handle has a small tear, but overall, it remains in great condition.
Frank Lloyd Wright Taliesin Palette Martin-Senour Paints 1950s Schumacher Vintage Original Rare Collectible. Measures approximately 9 1/2″ x 9 1/2″. It opens to 9 1/2″ x 19″. Collectible item has bowing, creasing, dinged corners and edges, marks and discoloration. Once opened, on the left side, there are imprints of the color squares on the paper. Colors on the palette are in vintage condition with surface surfaces, creasing, surface lines and marks, fading, and other wear. For instance, color Old Rose No. 705 has a crease and surface tear near the top edge. 36″ and “Cherokee Red No. 68 have heavier surface marks and scratches. 287 has a line mark on it. This Frank Lloyd Wright Architecture For Midway Gardens Sprites Chess Pieces Set is made of polyresin, individually hand painted and polished. They comes packed in an FLW yellow gift box as pictured. The Chess board is made of wood with silver silk-screened checkered squares with color-coordinated frame. This Frank Lloyd Wright Architecture For Midway Gardens Sprites Chess Pieces Set measures 5″ tall, 1.75″ long and 1.5″ deep approximately on the tallest piece and 3″ Tall on the shortest pawn piece. The set weighs about 3.25 pounds altogether. The chess pieces have 1.5″ base width which makes them ideal for any chess boards with a square dimension of 1.75″ to 2. The board measures 19″ by 19″. Each checkered squares on the board measures 2″ by 2″. Midway Gardens was an indoor-outdoor entertainment complex located on Chicago’s south side. Constructed in 1914, the complex was ornamented with concrete panels, hand-painted wall murals, lighting, and tableware all designed by Frank Lloyd Wright. Working in collaboration with sculptor Alfonso Iannelli, a group of various concrete figures, male and female, were sculpted and stood atop the building’s street façades. This first of its kind chess set is adapted from Wright’s Midway Gardens (1913) in Chicago, IL. Featuring the infamous Sprites and other design elements Wright created for the garden. Each intricate collectible piece is made of cold cast resin with hand-rubbed patina finish. The chess board is not done by Frank Lloyd Wright. It is made by our factory to accommodate the Midway Gardens Sprites chess pieces by FLW. An authenticity card is enclosed with the chess pieces’ box. This stained glass art is a beautifully hand crafted by the Frank Lloyd Wright foundation. This panel represents the design of a curtain in a home located in Spring Green, Wisconsin. There are small amounts of wear on the lower portion of the frame (see photos) but the panel itself is in outstanding condition.
