Martin House, one of Wright’s most important Prairie Style designs. The substantial clear glass houses an analog clock with a white face, framed in silver with silver markings on the face, making it a modern and stylish addition to any room, adding a touch of architectural flair and artistry. This original piece is a functional and decorative collectible that celebrates the renowned Frank Lloyd Wright design aesthetic, and would be a perfect gift for any art and architecture fan. A beautiful etched glass art piece featuring the iconic Robie House design by Frank Lloyd Wright. This one of a kind piece is perfect for any fan of Frank Lloyd Wright’s work. Oakbrook Esser Studios is licensed to reproduce some of Frank Lloyd Wright’s designs, and they could probably verify the date of creation, original retail price, or any other information you might be seeking. Glass: 18-1/2 inches x 6 inches. Base: 8-1/2 inches x 5-1/2 inches x 1 5/8 inches. CONDITION: There are a few small scratches to the glass that I tried to photograph, but they are not substantial. I don’t know if they could be buffed out. The base is solid wood, and the paint has shrunk as a result of exposure to the sun for many years. It could easily be sanded and refinished or painted. Let me know if you have any questions.
