Set of Four FRANK LLOYD WRIGHT Imperial Hotel 1964 nine-inch Plates / Dishes ONCE IN A LIFETIME. He architected not only Hotel also hotel relative as tableware and the furniture. The beautiful mint condition plates I listed is marked “1964″, significant year for one page of Japan’s history, Tokyo hosted Summer Olympic Games in that year, first ever in Japan. Of course, year of1964 is important for The board members decided demolition the icon and reconstruction the hotel itself due to higher demand after Olympic Games. We Japanese know that 1964 is the turning point and epoc making of post war era of Japan’s history. Once again, these are the one-of-a-kind and one of the most significant Imperial Hotel/Frank Lloyd Wright plate you never seen. YOU CAN’T FIND THIS ITEM IN ANY OTHER AUCTIONS. Green cloth boards stamped in black. Book is very good with light wear along edges/corners. Has scarce dust jacket which is in good condition. A landmark Frank Lloyd Wright title with the original dust jacket, signed and inscribed.
This is the world’s first collection of works by the great master Wright, who continued to have a great influence on modern architecture, in the form of a historical compilation. The cover is burnt and brown due to age.

The spine has faded due to sun exposure. There is a stain on the edge of the book as shown in the photo. Published March 1, 1991.

In honor of Frank Lloyd Wright`s 150th anniversary. Limited Edition of 250. Each piece is uniquely numbered. Stainless steel rose pvd case with brown leather strap. The rug was manufactured after his death and is on display at Taliesin in Spring Green, WI.
