Information Via maker: Historical Arts and Casting Inc. The John Storer House, designed by Frank Lloyd Wright in 1923, was built in Hollywood of what Wright called Textile concrete blocks. There were various shapes of concrete blocks, that were custom made for the project that had different patterns cast into their surfaces. The element that you have acquired is a copper-plated-cast-aluminum reproduction of one of the pierced blocks from the Storer house. Most of the blocks used on the house were solid in nature.
