Up for consideration is this wonderful example of Frank Lloyd Wright design made by Copeland furniture. This ottoman was originally created for Wright’s living room at Taliesin (1911-59) in Spring Green, Wisconsin. The reproduction is based on measurements of the original and adapted with a roomy storage compartment beneath the cushion. It is in good condition with a few minor signs of use and age. No major damages this piece displays wonderfully. Upholstery is very clean. Truly hard to find and just an amazing piece of design! Measures 21.5″ long, 19″ wide, and 16 tall. The Thaliassen Wall was originally designed as a pendant light in 1933 when the Hillside Home School gymnasium was converted into a theater. Vertical light, controlled by a number of blocks covering the lamp, is further reflected by a shading plate to provide a pleasant indirect light. This product can be mounted on plasterboard or wood walls in rental housing with minimal holes by using the included mounting kit. If there is wiring in the wall, it can be attached to the one-touch connector on the back for use. This product is a generic reproduction manufactured in Japan. Can be replaced with any E17 size bulb of your choice (incandescent bulb, fluorescent bulb, LED bulb); if you use a dimmer, you must replace the incandescent bulb. Thaliassen 4 is a smaller version of Thaliassen 2, which Wright improved from a pendant lamp to a floor lamp when the theater at Thaliassen’s Hillside Home School burned down and was rebuilt in 1952, and with the approval of the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation, has made it smaller than the Thaliassen and more The lamp is smaller in size than the Thaliassen, and was made to fit the scale of the Japanese residential environment.
