Masters of World Architecture. By this publisher in this format. No dustjackets in two (2) slipcases. Eleven (11) volumes altogether. Imprinted black and color lettering to covers and spines. Covers are smooth marbled gray paper. Overall condition of the books are very good to excellent. Inside covers front and rear are clean. Front and rear endpapers are clean, unmarked, and without personalization. Bindings on individual volumes are tight and the volumes are square. Inside text blocks are secure. Hinges are excellent–intact, and without issues. No noticeable edgewear to cover boards, but some wear may be seen on the slip cases (see photos). Spines are faded & slightly soiled but without tears. Note that some very slight fraying may be seen to the spine edge on the one volume that describes Antonio Gaudi (see photos). Volumes fit snugly in their respective slipcases. Pages edges are smoothly cut & trimmed. Inside pages are surprisingly clean and bright. Volumes carry substantive text introductions and are illustrated with sketches, plans, and (mostly black and white) photographs. Books bear no marks or damage and do NOT smell of mold, smoke, damp, or mustiness. They may only be said to smell like a bookstore! These are NOT former library books. Books are from an adult, non-smoking household, and are in very readable and handleable condition. The impression given by the set is that reference to them was made with careful reverence. Please see all 12 photographs as they expand and complete the description and show the condition of these books, the dimensions of which are 10 1/4″ by 7 1/2″ by 1/2.
