Set of Four FRANK LLOYD WRIGHT Imperial Hotel 1964 nine-inch Plates / Dishes ONCE IN A LIFETIME. He architected not only Hotel also hotel relative as tableware and the furniture. The beautiful mint condition plates I listed is marked “1964″, significant year for one page of Japan’s history, Tokyo hosted Summer Olympic Games in that year, first ever in Japan. Of course, year of1964 is important for The board members decided demolition the icon and reconstruction the hotel itself due to higher demand after Olympic Games. We Japanese know that 1964 is the turning point and epoc making of post war era of Japan’s history. This is a very well made lidded metal box measuring 4 square. The box has some random imperfections on it. The type of metal is Pewter. The Frank Lloyd Wright pieces on the Makers Website are quite pricey… Thanks for checking out this unique piece! In 1996, Historical Arts and Casting produced a line Frank Lloyd Wright decorative designs, which included a few of the Heritage-Henredon designed accessories, one of which was the Four Square Ornamental Cube Vase. A larger 8″ square, produced to give the appearance it was manufactured in copper, and finished with a natural patina finish, and a smaller 4″ square cube produced in pewter. Engraved in base: Historical Arts logo, “Historical Arts & Casting” and the Frank Lloyd Wright logo, Frank Lloyd Wright Collection. This item is Stamped: 00055.

Designed by Frank Lloyd Wright. Third print lower left hand corner. City National Bank and Hotel was commissioned by lawyers James E. Blythe and James E. 7 W State St, Mason City, IA 50401. Category: Commercial Restoration Status. Bank remodeled in 1980s and hotel renovated in 2005-6. Forth print lower right corner. Wright earned the commission for the Como Orchards Summer Colony after designing a vacation home for Frederick Nichols in 1906. University Heights, Darby, Montana. Mostly demolished between 1930-45. A low game table with four matching chairs designed in 1955 by Frank Lloyd Wright for Heritage Henredon. The line, dubbed Taliesin after Wrights Wisconsin estate, combined essential geometric forms – circle, triangle, hexagon – to create an exhaustive suite of living, dining, and bedroom pieces. The game table has a circular tabletop that opens to accommodate one insert leaf, sitting on an X-shaped base whose beveled edges are decorated with the Taliesin signature: an engraved Greek key motif. The same pattern graces the front legs of the matching chairs, and is engraved in the copper band around the tables edge. Each chair has an elongated octagonal backrest, its shape accentuated by the welted seams of the upholstered headrest. Retains manufacturers label beneath tabletop. Excellent restored condition; professionally refinished and reupholstered. {table} The table is 54 in diameter and 24.5 tall, with a clearance of 23.5.
