This is a very well made lidded metal box measuring 4 square. The box has some random imperfections on it. The type of metal is Pewter. In 1996, Historical Arts and Casting produced a line Frank Lloyd Wright decorative designs, which included a few of the Heritage-Henredon designed accessories, one of which was the Four Square Ornamental Cube Vase. A larger 8″ square, produced to give the appearance it was manufactured in copper, and finished with a natural patina finish, and a smaller 4″ square cube produced in pewter.
