TALIESIN 3 (Tagliassen 3) is a table stand that condenses the architecture of Frank Lloyd Wright into a compact body. When Hillside Home School (1902), a gymnasium on the site of his residence, Tagliasen, was converted into a theater in 1933, Wright designed the pendant lighting from the high ceiling, consisting of a square box and plywood sheathing board. The light loved this pendant, which created soft indirect light without the use of glass or shades, and when the theater was rebuilt after a fire in 1952, the same design concept was applied to the floor lighting, the Tagliacen 2.
