Full Set of “A HOUSE FOR LIFE” Blueprints. Inspired by Frank Lloyd Wright. Designed by Taliesin Architect’s John Rattenbury. From LIFE magazine’s 1997 Dream House. Up for sale are blueprints for the 1997 Life Dream House otherwise known as The House For Life. These are blueprints of the LIFE Dream House designed by Taliesin Architects, a continuation of the architectural practice of Frank Lloyd Wright. The house was designed by Frank Lloyd protege John. Was a student of Frank Lloyd Wright and became a member of the Taliesin Fellowship in 1950. He worked on over 60 of Wright’s projects over the next nine years, including the Guggenheim, the Marin County Civic Center and the Gammage Memorial Auditorium. He helped establish Taliesin Associated Architects after Wright’s death in 1959, where he served as a senior architect and planner until the firm dissolved in 2003. Taliesin Architects no longer exists. I have five copies of these blueprints which I obtained when they were still for sale. THEY ARE NO LONGER FOR SALE ANYWHERE. ONCE THEY ARE GONE, THEY ARE GONE. They have been sitting in a corner of my study for a very long time. They have never been used for construction and are the way I received them from Southern Living.
