Basic info – Lego set 21010 – Robie House. This set is complete and comes with the instructions, which show normal wear, and the box, which shows heavy wear. Due to the new balloon pricing for large boxes, it might be worth considering, since the Lego box is damaged. If your carrier has a habit of leaving packages where they can be seen, it might be a good idea to take advantage of the free signature requirement. It was already built when I bought it and it was stored built inside the box, with some of the taller pieces removed. If you are an experienced Lego builder, you probably know that the maroon pieces on a used set can be problematic – and this set is almost all maroon. I put everything back together on this set for the photos, and then took it apart. I broke several tiles during the process, but replaced them with new pieces from Bricklink. Because of that, this set needs to be built with a little TLC by an experienced builder. It is also a tedious set, due to all of the small pieces, but it is a beautiful set once finished. Pieces have been bagged in smaller groups, since color sorting on this set would not be efficient. It will not arrive in several large bags all mixed together. The Bricklink inventory was used to verify the pieces, after it was taken apart. Comes from a non-smoking home. Please send any questions. I know that seems long, but I don’t want to ruin anyone’s birthday. As I continue to sift through my Frank Lloyd Wright material, I came upon the final box of plan set files. This huge batch of material is the second part of this collection. It consists of 147 individual files of 8.5″ x 11″ photocopies (xerox). Each individual file varies in size from a sheet or two like the perforated board detail for the Richardson residence to as many as 240 sheets for the Price Tower. As with most FLW plan sets, eight or nine sheets is typical. Site plan, foundation, floor plans, elevations, sections, framing, millwork and related details. In a number of cases, the plans are more involved and have more sheets. These files cover many unbuilt projects, preliminary drawings as well as built structures. In addition and to be included is the Taliesin inventory of Frank Lloyd Wright buildings and projects from 1899 through 1959 compiled by the FLW Foundation in 1970. This file contains 46 page. Also the Hanna House document file containing 69 pages. Because of the nature of this collection, I can’t show every file but I have provided two examples as a reference. The Kenneth Hargrove project (photos 1,2,3) and the Richard Small project (photos: 4,5,6) I have included the inventory of this collection. See photos 7,8 and 9. I’m happy to provide a copy of this list to a potential purchaser as the photos might not read all that well. This collection is quite diverse with many unbuilt and little known projects. Additionally, there are well known and lesser known built works by FLW. The collection is the second part of this collection. This material was compiled over a period of about fifteen years A tremendous amount of time, effort and expense went into accumulating this material. This extensive collection provides a wonderful insight into Frank Lloyd Wright’s architecture. The collection and the vast amount of information within is significant and should be kept together. So there is no misunderstanding,, this listing is for the 147 individual files shown in the inventory list plus the Taliesin inventory and Hanna house files. Please note, I will not break up or part out the collection, Ideally, the complete collection. All 367 individual files should be in the hands of someone who will truly appreciate it, keep everything together and enjoy it. I will make considerations for the acquisition of both. Additionally, I offer assurance, that no copies will be made of these files. The item “FRANK LLOYD WRIGHT 147 INDIVIDUAL FILES OF PLANS, PRELIMS & DETAILS (Part 2)” is in sale since Wednesday, April 8, 2020. This item is in the category “Books\Antiquarian & Collectible”. The seller is “cen0041″ and is located in Sonora, California. This item can be shipped worldwide.

Something truly unique for the serious collector of Frank Lloyd Wright material. This offering is for an extensive collection of 220 individual files of plan sets for unbuilt projects, built houses, preliminary drawings and numerous details. The collection consists of files of 8.5″ x 11″ photocopies (xerox). Each individual file varies in size from a few sheets such as the David Wright Living Room rug to well over 150 sheets for the Fallingwater plan. Many of the plan sets consist of the eight or nine sheets that were typical of a FLW set of plans. Obviously, I can’t show examples of everything in this collection but I have provided two examples. The Edgar Lee project (photos # 1,2,3,4,5) which includes the prelims and the working drawings. This file totals 12 sheets. Also shown (photos # 10,11) is the residence project for V. This file includes the preliminary sketches and working drawings totaling 20 sheets. For reference, this collection is quite diverse in scope with many unbuilt, little known projects as well known and lesser known built residences. This collection was compiled over a lengthy time period. A lot of time, effort and significant expense went into accumulating this material. Sure, 8.5″ x 11″ photocopies is not like having a full size set of plans in hand but. This material does provide a vast amount of information on unbuilt projects, built houses and details that one is not likely to have access to. This monumental batch of research and study material provides wonderful insight into Frank Lloyd Wright’s architecture that isn’t readily available. Even to architectural scholars unless you have unlimited access to the Taliesin Archives. Because of the significance of this collection, It won’t be broken up or parted out Ideally, this plan collection should be in the hands of someone who will truly appreciate it, keep it together and foremost. I have included photos (# 6,7,8,9) of the inventory of the collection. Though it might not read all that well, I’m glad to provide the list of this collection or additional photos to a potential purchaser. So there is no misunderstanding, this listing is for the complete collection as per the inventory list. Also please note that while offers will be considered, I won’t entertain or respond to ridiculously low offers. The item “FRANK LLOYD WRIGHT 220 INDIVIDUAL FILES OF PLAN SETS, PRELIMS & DETAILS” is in sale since Thursday, January 23, 2020. This item is in the category “Books\Antiquarian & Collectible”. FRANK LLOYD WRIGHT – ANTONIN RAYMOND – ARCHITECTURAL DETAILS. The first copy of this publication was in 1937. The original plates were destroyed during the bombing of Japan in the Second World War. Fortunately, a perfect copy was found and and was used to publish this issue in 1947. The original publication featured burlap boards for the cover with the 1947 publication using heavy stock for the covers with a burlap imprint. Other minor improvements were made but the later printing is generally true to the original in most details. Antonin Raymond and his wife were apprentices of Frank Lloyd Wright in Wisconsin and relocated to Japan to assist Frank Lloyd Wright in the completion of the drawings for the Imperial Hotel. The Raymonds remained in Japan and started an architectural practice incorporating Japanese details influenced to a large degree by their association with Mr. This copy is in fine condition with only minor wear showing on the corners of the covers as shown in the photos. Other than a name imprint of the current owner stamped on the frontispiece, there are no other marks or stains in the copy. The plastic spiral binding is tight and unbroken.
