This is a no longer produced Acme Studio Rollerball Frank Lloyd Write “Playhouse”. I tried to capture all the spots in the photos so please look carefully. Not at all noticeable to a normal glance but upon inspection you’ll see them. Looking at other pens of this same model this seems common. I try to be transparent in all my listings and have this priced lower than other same items because of those minor flaws (that never bothered me). The design, on a black background, is based on the pattern used in the informal dining room of the Imperial Hotel in Tokyo, Japan commissioned in 1916. The pen comes with one black roller ball refill. Artist’s signature is engraved on the cap band and “ACME” is on the clip. The pen is presented in a metal Frank Lloyd Wright tin with a black sleeve and ACME literature.
