Mid Century Style Wall Clock Art Palm Springs Landscape Eames Frank Lloyd Wright

We wanted to create a most unique one of a kind 3 dimensional sculptural wall clock… This wall clock is a mixed media landscape representation of a mid century Eames or Frank Lloyd Wright home – a Palm Springs style home. We also wanted to produce this Palm Springs home in the Picasso style of assemblage. Assemblage is an artistic form or medium usually created on a defined substrate that consists of three-dimensional elements projecting out of or from the substrate. It is similar to collage, or a two dimensional medium. It is part of the visual arts, and it typically uses found objects, but not limited to these materials. A sturdy piece of plywood has been adhered to back of the plexiglass to provide strength and stability. The wood accents along the borders and definitions ng the house have been hand cut from a chunk of cherrywood. The elements used to create the art aspects are: ceramic tile, wax cord, glass tile, gravel, crushed glass, fabric, small wood coffee stirrers/sticks, sea shells and plastic flower blooms. It measures 26 x 15.5. The clock fitting are all new. Please let us know if you have questions.
