Beth Sholom Synagogue A Description and Interpretation Frank Lloyd Wright RARE

Beth Sholom Synagogue; A Description and Interpretation by Mortimer J. Cohen Rabbi, Congregation Beth Shalom. This appears to have been published by Congregation Beth Shalom as a dedication for Wright’s building in Elkins Park PA, probably around its opening in 1959. 34 pages with cloth cover boards featuring gilding and red lettering. B&W and color illustrations. 7.5″ x 10.25″. I’ve always thought Beth Shalom was under-appreciated in Wright’s catalogue, it is a beautiful structure rich in complexity and symbolism. This is a scarce and highly collectible book – Sweeney # 1261. Rare 1912 Frank Lloyd Wright The Japanese Print An Interpretation First Edition

This has to be a very rare item! It is an original 1912 First Edition of The Japanese Print An Interpretation by Frank Lloyd Wright Chicago Ralph Fletcher Seymour Company It measures 5 3/8″ x 8 3/8″ and contains 35 numbered pages and end pages front and back of beautiful Japanese rice paper. The covers appear to be boards covered with rice paper as well. The front cover has some tiny light spots of discoloration and the back cover appears to have one spot. The interior pages are quite nice with only the most minimal wear. The spine is in very good condition with perhaps some creasing of paper at bottom area. A nicer example of this work would be difficult to find! A great addition to any collection!
