Frank Lloyd Wright

Nice looking dining chairs from the mid 1960′s. Prairie style lines that resemble the works of Frank Lloyd Wright. We believe the wood to be a dark maple. Newly reupholstered in an complimentary blue fabric with geometric lines. The wood frames are in moderate/good condition with marks typical of age/use (see pics). Price is for all 4 chairs. Chairs – 19″W x 19″D x 37″H, Seat Height 18″. Unlike most Mid Century dealers, we go over every inch of our pieces before they leave our showroom. Wood pieces undergo a 5 step restoration process to clean, nourish, remove scuffing/paint, hydrate, and bring out the original finish. All joints are tightened, drawers are cleaned, missing hardware replaced, and all metal/chrome polished. We keep our items as authentic as possible. In our opinion sanding and staining a designer Mid Century piece will only diminish the value as the vintage authenticity and character is lost. We never pass the restoration costs onto our customers. Upholstered items are professionally cleaned and new dust fabric added underneath as needed. If the original fabric is not in near perfect condition then we will reupholster the item in a high quality period appropriate fabric. We never sell Mid Century reproductions. All of our items are 40-70 years old and in excellent condition, however some vintage character from use should be expected. We have very high standards at Dirty Girls Restoration and take our time with every piece we sell.
