He envisioned a better future centered on the automobile, telephone and radio, and mass production, integrated to bring mobility, freedom, and choice to the individual. Dense urban concentrations would no longer be necessary: The city would disperse into the countryside, spread out, and essentially disappear according to Wright. This is a blue cloth hardcover with considerable sunfading to the spine and edges of cover. Small paper label on the front cover with the title and author. The corners of the cover are worn. This vintage book “Living City” by Frank Lloyd Wright is a must-have for any collector or architecture enthusiast. Published in 1958 and written by the legendary architect himself, this hardcover book features a dust jacket and is illustrated with stunning architectural designs. The book is a first edition collector’s item and is in excellent condition. It is a great addition to any antiquarian and collectible book collection. The book comes with a map of the author’s hometown and is a unique find for anyone interested in Wright’s work.
