This delicate stylized design of waterlilies, common in the tranquil ponds of the Midwest, is adapted from Frank Lloyd Wright’s drawing Waterlilies, which is thought to be designed for an art glass screen in 1895 but never produced. This early example epitomizes Wright’s ability to incorporate themes from nature and exemplifies his philosophy of “organic architecture”-the connecting of the natural world into his architecture as well as his decorative designs.
The Frank Lloyd Wright Waterlilies Tapestry Throw Blue was inspired by a drawing for a window that was never realized. The graceful pattern depicts flowers and lily pads floating on a tranquil pool of water.

Frank Lloyd Wright Waterlilies Stained Glass. This Frank Lloyd Wright Waterlilies Stained Glass, depicting flowers and lily pads floating in a tranquil pool, is adapted from an unrealized leaded stained glass window designed by Wright circa 1893-95. On this glass panel, enamel colors are individually applied to a single sheet of glass which is then kiln fired to permanently fuse the enamels to the glass. The glass panel is then framed with a metal came and includes hanging chain and wood stand for optional desk or table display. This Frank Lloyd Wright glass panel is officially licensed by the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation.
