Price Company, it has recently undergone extensive restoration, returning it closely to its original form. This drawing set is a treasure trove for anybody interested in Wright’s later style. The plan is based on a grid of equilateral triangles, which yields a highly complex and fluid sense of space. As a work of art these prints are worth purchasing in their own right. While most of his designs were based on a square or rectangular grid, in his later years he explored the possibilities of the triangular or honeycomb grid as an ordering device.
