This is one of the most famous works titled “July Fourth, ” officially authorized by the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation as a collectible item. The original artwork is one of 12 designs created in 1927 for the cover of Liberty Magazine. A metal nameplate with the inscription “Frank Lloyd Wright” is located near the center at the bottom of the frame. The piece is crafted with flat glass painted with translucent enamel, giving the surface texture, and it is framed with metal. As a handmade item that has undergone firing, it will not fade over time. When viewed through light, the stained glass reveals a stunningly beautiful and elegant palette with a strong presence. The signature is illegible to me and the frame has an identification plate attached to the right side that reads Dickinson Wright PLLC. Upon research, this DW is a huge law firm and not a product production company. If you know, please fill me in, I would be grateful for the information.
