Vintage 1980s poster by Frank Lloyd Wright. The well-known Ochimizu-so (Kaufman House), one of Wright’s most famous works. A EDITA Tokyo 1984 is at the bottom. It is also closely associated with the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation, a publisher specializing in architecture that publishes a complete collection of Wright’s works, This poster was produced in 1984 by A. EDITA Tokyo, a publisher specializing in architecture and closely associated with the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation, which published a complete collection of Wright’s works (see images 6-9). Kaufmann House Bear Run Pennsylvania U. 1984 Printed in Japan Size of the frame Width 97cm Height: 66cm Thickness: 2.5cm Size of poster Width 90cm Height: 59.5cm Please allow for slight variations. The original painting on which this poster is based is a drawing owned by the Wright Foundation. Although the same original painting was made into a poster for the Frank Lloyd Wright exhibition held at MOMA in New York in 1994, This piece dates back 10 years from the MOMA. A EDITA published the first edition of the complete Frank Lloyd Wright collection in 1984. This poster was probably produced for A. S own bookstore as part of the accompanying promotion. Looking at the reverse side, it is set with a special nail clamp, not an ordinary dragonfly. The production may not have been a one-off, but it was probably a very small run. As for the condition, there are two or three faint stains on the edge of the poster, about the size of a fingertip. It is not noticeable, and we photographed the area when exhibiting, but were unable to capture the stain. That is the extent of the stains. The stains are slightly visible due to the reflection of the acrylic plate. The reflection of the acrylic panel makes it a little difficult to see, but there is no rippling on the surface of the poster. The poster is in good condition, but it is a vintage poster that is almost 40 years old.
