Frank Lloyd Wright – The Living City. Frank Lloyd Wright and the Living City is an innovative survey of Wright’s career focused upon the nine basic building types found in the Living City and pursuing the evolution of each throughout his career. The text and illustrations combine to reveal his lifelong ideal of organic architecture, in which he envisioned each building, its interior, and the furniture and fixtures within it, as well as the surrounding landscape or town. Book in good condition with some issues on spine (see photos). First edition includes Pull-out Map 1958 Architecture in excellent condition. A must-have for collectors, architects, and those fascinated by Frank Lloyd Wright’s revolutionary ideas. This is a like new book. I doubt it was ever opened or read, has minor shelf wear on spine (see photo).
The Early Work by Frank Lloyd Wright published by Bramhall House, very good condition. This hard cover book was a part of an extensive collection of books on architecture that my partner’s late father collected throughout his life. He worked for I. Pei and designed notable buildings that were erected all over the world. The book is in very good condition with just a few tiny flaws in the dust jacket.
