Pauli Lame is best known for her work and fabrication of the the mural “Willows & Reflections” in the Price Tower designed by Frank Loyd-Wright. She worked, lived, and displayed all over the nation. This is a special piece that came out of the estate of Harold C. Him and his wife, Carol, were avid collector’s of the mid century and New Mexico arts. Commissioned Frank Loyd-Wright to built the Price Tower. Frank Loyd-Wright commissioned John Dekoven Hill of Taliesin Associated Architects to design the mural, and they both recruited Pauli Lame to Fabricate the piece. Funny thing is she turned them down the first time they asked. She ended up living in Bartlesville. This is a rare piece that has characteristics of both mid century and New Mexico. This is a signed piece of museum quality art and very rarely offered on the public market.
