Tariacen 4 is a Tariacen 2 that was made into a floor lamp by modifying a pendant lamp when the Hillside Home School theater in Tariacen was destroyed by fire and rebuilt in 1952. With the approval of the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation by YAMAGIWA, Tariacen is smaller than Tariacen and is sized to match the scale of the Japanese housing environment. The vertical light, controlled by a number of blocks covering the lamp, is further reflected by the light shield to provide a pleasant brightness for indirect light. The light shielding plate can be installed in either the vertical direction of the block. When installed on the lower side, it emits light upward as an upper light.
