Size: 9′-0″ x 4’3″. Colors: Orange, Blue, Green, Off-White. Condition: Excellent Vintage Condition. As far as I know, this rug was installed in the Arizona Biltmore Hotel as part of a renovation done by Taliesen Architects (Frank Lloyd Wright’s firm) in the early seventies. It was originally wall-to-wall carpeting that, when removed some years later, was professionally trimmed and bound around the edges to be used as an area rug. The binding matches perfectly, and is done so well, you would never know that it was done later. The design is called the Imperial Arrow, and was first used in the Imperial Hotel in Japan with a different color palette. Please ask any questions prior to purchasing or making an offer.
