Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation WILLITS HOUSE Laser Cut Art in Framed Shadow Box. This intricate laser cut art piece depicts architectural detail from the Ward W. Willits House, which is considered one of Frank Lloyd Wright’s first great Prairie houses. The house in Highland Park, Illinois, was designed by Wright in 1901 and was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1980. Black accent panels contrast nicely with the brushed brass colored finish of the art. The entire piece is bordered by a wide warm white mat and enclosed within a black framed shadow box. The trademarked Frank Lloyd Wright signature appears on the mat in black. Label on the back reads. This item is in very good pre-owned condition. There are no cracks or repairs to the frame or clear front window cover (I think it is glass). The paper covering on the back is completely intact. There are a few scratch/scuff marks and some indents at the front top edges of the frame. Overall the framed picture measures approx. 8-1/2″ high, 8-1/2″ wide and is 1-1/4 deep. Center metal art measures approx. 3-1/2″ high and 3-1/2″ wide. Black wooden frame measures approx. 1″ wide and 1-1/4″ deep. Item shown is the item you will receive.
