This is a very cool reproduction of Frank Lloyd Wright’s glass windows from the Coonley Playhouse. Wright was commissioned by Avery and Queene Coonley to design and build a private school in Riverside, Illinois for their daughter Elizabeth, and the neighborhood children. This cottage school was referred to as the Coonley Playhouse and displayed his unique identifiable art glass windows. The bold design features circles and squares in varying sizes in the primary colors of yellow, blue, red, brown, black and white outlined in black. There is a small US flag near the bottom. It is very eye catching and the colors really pop when the sun hits them! The design is screen printed onto a glass panel and encased in a brushed silver metal frame. At the bottom of the panel there is a metal placard that reads. A Frank Lloyd Wright Collection Product. Authorized by the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation with his signature. This is a great collector’s piece or a lovely gift for a Frank Lloyd Wright enthusiast. No chips or cracks. Enamel design is solid with very little wear. 19-1/8″ tall x 4-11/16″ wide.
