Around 1992 Robert Baird from Historical Arts and Castings of Utah was reviewing Frank Lloyd Wrights Heritage Henredon furniture drawings with Bruce Brooks Pfeiffer at Taliesin West for the purpose of finding yet to be produced decorate arts. Several pieces were found and developed in to a product line that is no longer being produced today. This Duo-Vase is one of the most magnificent large heavy dramatic examples of that research. It’s huge at a solid 31 lbs. It’s made of cast bronze, holds water of which I’ve never done. I’ve owned this piece since it was new, and it’s only been kept on display as a decorate art, never used as a wet vase. What I was most attracted to in this pieces was it’s Taliesin Heritage Henredon base design shown in the pictures. This pieces measures 21″ high x 8″ wide x 8 deep.
