Frank Lloyd Wright

This 1:6 model of the chair designed by legendary US architect Frank Lloyd Wright is in perfect condition and only taken from the box for these photographs. The original chair was designed for the Imperial Hotel in Japan, built in 1913-23. All of the details from the booklet are shown in one of the photos above. The frame is made of 60 individual parts and takes almost 8 hours to create and assemble. The seat and backrest are wood and the the upholstery is in this brilliant yellow leather. We cannot find any examples of this for sale and it apprears that his chair is no longer in production in the Vitra Museum Miniature Chair collection. The leaflet is in English and German.
