FRANK LLOYD WRIGHT SYNAGOGUE MODEL w/ Photo. Stunning out-of-production architectural model has incredible detail. Made of some kind of resin, painted the accurate colors of the building. This Modernist design, building was. Completed in 1959, it has been called a startling, translucent, modernist evocation of an ancient temple, transposed to a Philadelphia suburb. It was designated a National Historic Landmark in 2007. This scale model was designed as a coin bank, see slot on the top and rubber plug on bottom to remove coins. No longer in production. In very good condition for its age, measures approx. 6 1/4 high x 8 1/2 and accompanied by a framed 7×5 color photo that I took of the building a few weeks ago. The only minor issue is there are 4 very small gray prongs on either side of the roof top that have broken off. It is the only synagogue designed by famed architect Frank Lloyd Wright. Beth Sholom is Hebrew for House of Peace. Please view all photos, these display very well. Great for FLW collector. Will be Packed with care.
