COMPARE TO ABE PRICES WHICH ARE MUCH HIGHER. A QUITE SCARCE COPY IN THE ORIGINAL DUST JACKET. GENIUS AND THE MOBOCRACY. SIGNED AND DATED BY FRANK LLOYD WRIGHT on the tipped-in front free endpaper as follows: Frank Lloyd Wright June 8 /49. The book presents Frank Lloyd Wright’s intimate account of his personal and aesthetic relationship with another of America’s greatest Architects, Louis Sullivan, the father of architectural modernism. This is a Very Good copy with three bumped corners and pushing to the spine ends. The dust jacket is in Very Good minus condition with some chips and tears, some tiny holes, and fraying to the flap folds. The dust jacket for this book is notoriously fragile and the jacket gracing this copy (in removable mylar) is about as good as any we have seen. Because of its scarcity and fragility, we have left the dust jacket in the protective mylar while photographing it. Copies signed by Wright are quite uncommon to the market are and signed copies in surviving examples of the fragile dust jacket are QUITE UNCOMMON TO SCARCE INDEED. The photographs included in this listing constitute a part of the item’s description.
