Original Bradley & Hubbard Arts & Crafts 32-panel, three-socket slag glass overlay lamp (circa 1910) with yellow/green/white slag glass and red square accents under Prairie/Frank Lloyd Wright-style rectilinear or geometric feather-pattern filigree. This lamp is a nice medium-size overall; it stands 22″ tall, the shade is 16″ across and the base is 7 1/2 across. All glass panels are intact (no cracks or chips) and appear to be original. All panel filigree is also intact with nothing missing and no repairs evident. As shown in the photos, this lamp also has the correct matching base and finial, unlike many other B&H “marriage” lamps (mismatched shade and base) that use this particular shade, which is often referred to as the Wilkinson design. This lamp has been professionally rewired with a cloth-covered style cord and all three of the pull-chain sockets work well although the socket mechanisms have been replaced of course, given this lamp is over 100 years old. The lamp is signed on the bottom of the base with the B&H triangle and “Bradley and Hubbard Mfg Co” along the edge of the shade (see photos). Only in two separate boxes (one for the shade, one for the base) to help protect the shade from damage. Please study the pictures carefully to assess condition and don’t hesitate to contact if you have concerns or questions. I can also send more photos as requested.
