The hand-applied finish blends dark bronze with amber brown and muted gold undertones, intentionally aged to evoke the patina of an original vintage mid-century fire screen. The framework is fitted with a mesh backing for ember protection. Weighing approximately 8 lbs. The screen is intentionally lightweight, making it easy to move when tending a gas or wood-burning fireplace. If you prefer a heavier screen for added stability around children or pets, we also offer other fireplace screens weighing approximately 20-30 lbs.
