This edition lacks the “Second Impression 1941″ imprint on verso of title page (opposite index) identifying it as first printing. A scarce and highly collectible book. Condition: Good+ /Very Good – Cover shows fading and wear with fraying at corners. Embossed gold title is significantly worn. Pages are unmarked and complete in tight binding except for color plate following Acknowledgement page which is free and laid in. Tanning of pages as expected in 80 year old paper.
