FRANK LLOYD WRIGHT COLLECTION – “WATERLILIES” STAINED ART GLASS PANEL DISPLAY with STANDS. Up for sale is this elegant stained glass panel featuring the design Waterlilies from Frank Lloyd Wright. The glass panel in frame measures approximately 15″ by 5.25″ and it includes the triangle bases. The bases are made of wood with a rich black walnut finish. The glass panel is made with hand applied, high quality, color pigmentation that is kiln fired and fused to the glass in multiple layers creating rich color that will not fade or scratch off. It is framed in metal. It has a metal logo stamp. Frank Lloyd Wright Collection. This product is authorized by the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation, Taliesin West, Scottdale, AZ, USA. A portion of the proceeds from this product originally supported the conservation and education programs of the foundation. This delicate stylized design of water lilies common in the tranquil ponds of the Midwest, is adapted from “Waterlilies”, thought to be for an art glass screen, designed by Frank Lloyd Wright in 1895, but never produced. This early example epitomizes Mr. Wright’s ability to incorporate themes from nature and exemplifies his philosophy of “organic architecture”, the connecting of the nature world into his architecture as well as his decorative designs.
