Authentic piece of the concrete facade of Frank Lloyd Wright designed Unity Temple in Oak Park, Illinois. This piece was salvaged by the Unity Temple Restoration Foundation and given to donors of the Unity Temple restoration project. The metal plaque is glued to one side of the 5 inch by 5 inch by 3 inch concrete facade piece. You can see from the pictures that the item is irregular in shape and the concrete aggregate is visible. In Unity Temple, the piece was part of the frame structure that held a glass window. The slot at the top of the item held the window in place. I will be listing more Frank Lloyd Wright related items in the near future. Please check out my listings from time to time.
