Created by Taliesin Architects after Frank Lloyd Wright designs for the Imperial Hotel in Tokyo, Japan. Construction still taking place after wright. This same pattern and a number of others were used in the Imperial hotel. The pattern was recreated in the 70s for the Arizona Biltmore hotel designed by architect Albert Chase McArthur brother of Warren and son of Warren McArthur Sr. Frank Lloyd Wright built the Mcarthur house. 1892, 4852 South Kenwood Avenue in Chicago, Illinois. The Arizona Biltmore gets attributed to Frank Lloyd Wright countless times but was designed by architect Albert Chase McArthur 1927. In the 70s Designer Kay Baden remodeled the inside of the hotel and had these carpets made by Taliesin West architects. This 9 x 4 example has been bound at the edges by the same company who has done all the carpet work at Taliesin West. Colors consist of granny smith apple green. S magenta and Wright.
