This art piece was created in collaboration with the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation, and it’s licensee Historical Arts and Castings in 1992. The team was reviewing the Heritage Henredon Furniture drawing collections and found several pieces of decorative arts in the drawing had never been produced. Historical Arts and Castings of Salt Lake City, Utah is one of the finest casting foundries in the country. They just finished reproducing and replacing the steel work on the Capital dome restoration project in Washington, D. One of the owners, Robert Baird, was very passionate about Frank Lloyd Wright, and worked hard to produce several never-before-seen pieces such as this Henredon vase. Their work is flawless as you can see, with great attention to detail. This piece is solid cast bronze, measures 16.5″ tall, and the base is 3″ square, and weighs 5 lbs. A very nice mid-century weed/flower vase. Holds water if you insist. I’ve owned this piece for 20 years, and I’ve been very protective of it. Have never had water in it, and wouldn’t for it’s pristine preservation. The item “Frank Lloyd Wright Herritage Henredon Mid-Century Modern Vase” is in sale since Monday, November 21, 2016.
