Frank Lloyd Wright Darwin Martin House Original Gutter Trough Bowl. In 1997, the first stage in restoring the Darwin Martin House was to remediate the damage done to the roof and gutters from ice and snow over the years it was unheated. The coppersmith who fabricated the new gutters removed all of the damaged ones in order to get exact measurements. With the help of the original coppersmith who was in charge of the restoration, we came up with this design, a trough bowl that is fitted using the same gutter hanger style to design feet. The finished product is distinctively prairie style, and could be used in many different ways. The gutter and end panels are from the original stock, only the feet and grommets are new. This is a very limited edition of 8, authentication will be provided to purchaser via a signed statement from the coppersmith who did all the work. This particular bowl measures 27.25″ long, 10 3/4″ wide and 7 tall.
