This Frank Lloyd Wright May Basket Metal Framed Stained Glass vividly recreates one of Wright’s most popular designs. This graphic design, “May Basket”, was one of twelve magazine covers designed by Frank Lloyd Wright in 1927 for Liberty magazine. Although they were not published at that time, these designs have proved to be timeless. Wright developed two of them into rug designs in 1955, and they and others have been adapted for other products as well. On this glass panel, enamel colors are individually applied to a single sheet of glass which is then kiln fired to permanently fuse the enamels to the glass. The glass is then metal framed and and includes a hanging chain and a wooden base. You can use this art masterpiece as a desktop plaque or as a wall hanging accent decor. Beautiful suncatcher has no chips or cracks and measures approximately 11.5″ x 11.5″. It does have 2 small holes at the top in the frame for chain for hanging. We do not have the chain. If there is a problem, please let us know and we will correct it to your satisfaction.
