Art Deco Set Of 6 Buffalo China Plates Restaurant Ware. Very similar to Martin House and Roycroft vintage China dinnerware designed by Frank Lloyd Wright, 6 dinner plates that measure 9 across. No chips or cracks or flaws, but three have very tiny manufacturers flaws that I have photographed closely and used a pen point so that you can gauge size of the spot. This is common in heavy restaurant ware of this era. The center plate is a bit scuffed or just not as white and smooth as the other 5, and there is slight color variation in the trim (again, see photo close ups) but not noticeable when the table is set. Each is marked Buffalo China on the back-some marks are in brown script, others are blue script. There is also a number mark, commonly seen in this type ware.
