This Tureen was designed by Frank Lloyd Wright for the Imperial Hotel in Tokyo, Japan in 1915. Although, the design of this tureen was made in 1915, the execution of this design was not accomplished until 1986. In1986, Tiffany & Co. Entered into an agreement with Frank Lloyd Wrights Foundation to manufacture and retail this tureen in a limited number. It was the prestigious company Pampaloni Argenti of Florence, Italy who was commissioned by Tiffany & Co. For the execution of this design for its European consumers. The design of this tureen consists of tapering and angular hexagonal sections. This Tureen measures 15-3/4 X 11 X 7 with lid (5-1/4 without lid) and weighs 106.5 Troy Ounces.
